AT5 MAX would have a lot more gear than I have currently, but I've started to buy packages that I don't have. But it also does it in ways you never dreamed. AmpliTube recreates the entire guitar/bass signal chain from instrument to recording device, and does so in a very realistic and intuitive way. I bought AT4 MAX and then just upgraded to AT5 (non-max) once it was released. AmpliTube 5 is a guitar and bass tone studio for Mac/PC that works as a standalone application and as a plug-in for your favorite DAW. The fact that you're debating this, makes me believe that you've looked at the tons of gear and like the variety too, and you seem to be ok with the price tag.
